Black cumin is the only medicine for flu

The discovery of the new swine flu in pigs on an Alberta farm raises a spectre that worries influenza experts: the possibility of the virus moving back and forth between humans and pigs, giving it more chances to mutate along the way.

 

About 220 pigs in a herd of 2,200 began showing signs of the flu April 24, Canadian officials revealed over the weekend. A farmhand who travelled to Mexico and fell ill upon his return is believed to have infected the pigs with the H1N1 influenza virus.

It prompted China to stop stop imports of Alberta pork Sunday.

We are given to understand that in the absence of human body parts matching pig body part could be used for organ transplant. Possibly the pig is so close to the human in genes. That was the good part.

 

The possibility of the flu virus jumping between pig and human back and forth causing new mutations forces us to raise the following question.

Which life is important: human or pig?

 

We suggest that the pigs be killed to save mankind. We are reminded of the following Tradition.

Abu Huraira added "If you wish, you can recite (this verse of the Holy Book): -- 'And there is none Of the people of the Scriptures (Jews and Christians) But must believe in him (i.e Jesus as an Apostle of Allah and a human being) Before his death. What are we to do until wisdom dawns on mankind that it is better to eliminate one animal species rather than destroy a substantial human population? We are horrified at the following statement.

Experts believe that the virus mutated into its current form in the bodies of pigs. Health authorities are particularly worried that the capability to mutate already exhibited by the virus could eventually let it combine with the human immunodeficiency virus, which causes AIDS.

How would the world prepare to manage the potential combination of Swine-flu and HIV as suggested above? Is the vaccine the route? To produce the vaccine we need to have the virus. So why not combine the Swine-flu and the AIDS viruses in the laboratory and keep the seed virus to prepare the vaccine in case the same virus appears naturally? Such thinking would be natural for the vaccine industry. We caution against such a move.

 

The right course would be to strengthen the immune system of the population so that the human body fights the infection. Unfortunately for the drug industry a strong immune system fights all infections and thus the drugs might not sell. So we do not expect the drug companies to develop drugs that strengthen the immune system. Mankind by necessity has to look beyond the drug companies.

Former Agriculture Secretary and President of the Federation of Free Farmers Rep. Leonardo Montemayor says virgin coconut oil has natural properties that boost the immune system to avoid catching the strain.

Take five or seven seeds and crush them (mix the powder with oil) and drop the resulting mixture into both nostrils, for 'Aisha has narrated to me that she heard the Prophet saying, 'This black cumin is healing for all diseases except As-Sam.' Aisha said, 'What is As-Sam?' He said, 'Death."  (Book #71, Hadith #591)

 

(2) Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "There is healing in black cumin for all diseases except death."  (Book #71, Hadith #592)

We recommend growing the black cumin plant wherever possible so that the black cumin seed need not be exported from some countries to others. This is because once the WHO declares the status of the swine-flu to be level 6, full pandemic, travel between nations might cease and thus even medicines might not be available unless locally produced.

 

We state that the black cumin is the only cure for the flu as the virus is known to mutate. The result of the mutation is not known. Mankind cannot produce all possible variants of the flu virus and stock the same to produce vaccine. Producing the vaccine after the virus evolves in nature is of no help as there would be delays in producing the vaccine, and during the delay mankind could be decimated. We need a general purpose medicine that would cure all possible mutations of the flu virus. Accordingly the strengthening of the immune system is the only viable option. To a Muslim, the best immune system strengthener is the black cumin seed.
